Shiseido owns the Zotos brand of professional hair care products. In 1996,
Unilever's Helen Curtis North American Professional Division was acquired
to further strengthen Shiseido's footing in the U.S. salon business. With the
1998 acquisition of the salon division of Lamaur Corporation, Shiseido now enjoys
a position among the top five salon product suppliers in the United States. Currently
efforts to upgrade the lines and increase production, sales, and distribution
efficiency are being undertaken to reinforce international competitiveness in
this sector.
Zotos products are used and sold in salons in over 40 countries around the world. |
