春の口紅特集。エアロビクスとディスコの境目のような、ヴィヴィッドで創意に富んだヴィジュアルです。こちらで主に使用しているルアという商品のCMイメージ・ソングは忌野清志郎と坂本龍一による「い・け・な・いルージュマジック」。ふたりが化粧を施したアルバムジャケットが当時話題になりました。（写真：小暮徹）

This is a special spring lipstick feature. The vivid and creative visual is a like a cross between aerobics and disco. The theme song for the Rua product, the main product promoted on this page, was “I.Ke.Na.I Rouge Magic” (Forbidden Rouge Magic) which was written by Kiyoshiro Imawano and Ryuichi Sakamoto. すぐれたグラフィック・デザインを紹介する連載企画、グラフィックス。この号のテーマは唇。シュルレアリスムのマン・レイやダリ、ポップ・アートのトム・ウェッセルマン、それに資生堂のデザイナーらによる作品を紹介しています。

Graphics is a serialized project introducing outstanding graphic designs. This issue, based on the theme of lips, introduces the works of surrealist artists Man Ray and Dali, pop art artist Tom Wesselmann, and artwork produced by Shiseido’s designers.

多様化の時代。今では口紅も色だけでなく、質感や光沢を操りあらゆる表現ができるようになりました。こちらでは様々なタイプの口紅をまとった唇を実験的なヴィジュアルで紹介しています。肉感的な唇はたしかに女性の魅力のひとつだということがわかるような気がしてきます。『花椿』の口紅特集はまだまだ続きます。（写真：中村成一）

This is a period of diversity. Nowadays, besides color, the texture and luster of lips can also be altered to create a variety of looks. Here, lipstick is introduced in an experiment-type visual showing women wearing different types of lipstick.
