When someone special enters your life, you probably get an urge to give this person a gift. This gift may be something tangible or even intangible like words or acts of kindness. Whatever the gift, it is something that is selected with love and care. Gifts are an exchange of feelings between the sender and receiver. In this issue, we look at special features focused on the topic of gifts such as at Christmas which is a season of abundant gift exchange, and at weddings in which people celebrate the union between two people.

This is a poem by G.B. Hilton which starts off with the single sentence, “Santa Claus is coming.” The artwork with retro feel is done by Noboru Ochiai. The page resonates with nostalgia and the uplifting spirit of Christmas.
